My name is Wayne, and I joined the EPIC team in November 2024 as Chief Executive Officer

My job is the strategic leadership and operational management of EPIC, Empowering People in Care. This means ensuring EPIC’s programmes and services are of a high standard, impactful, and informed by the voices of care-experienced children and young people. I want to ensure that EPIC continues to be the place where a young person in care or with experience can come for support and to have their voice amplified

Before joining the EPIC team, I worked for 20 years, with different organisations supporting men, women and children experiencing homelessness in Ireland.

My qualifications include a BA in Sociology and MPhil in Ethnic and Racial Studies.
