National Advocacy Service Team

Pip Keogh (he/him)

EPIC Advocate | Cork

My name is Pip, and I joined the EPIC team in September 2024 as an Advocate. I provide independent advocacy to care-experienced children and young people across Cork, Kerry, Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary, Waterford, and Wexford.

What I enjoy most about my job is empowering children and young people to advocate for their rights and being an amplifier for their voices to help transform the care system.

Before joining the EPIC team, I worked in youth work, social care, mental health, and education and training. Most recently, I worked as the Organising Director of the National Foster Youth Institute in Los Angeles.

My qualifications include a BA in Social Science from NUI Maynooth and an MA in Youth Work with Community Arts & Health Education from UCC.
