Fiona Murray (she/her)

Advocacy Service Manager | Dublin

My name is Fiona, and I joined the EPIC team in January 2006 as an Advocate. In 2018 I became an Advocacy Service Manager and I now support our team of Advocates that work with children and young people across North and South Dublin, Cavan, Monaghan, Kildare, Wicklow, and the Midlands.

It’s my job to ensure that every child and young person that comes to EPIC has access to a high standard of advocacy and support. I believe in championing children’s rights and listening to what children and young people have to say, and I want to be part of systematic change that ensures that children and young people in care and aftercare have the best possible experience of life.

Before joining the EPIC Team, I was the Director of a service for early school leavers and before that, a Deputy Manager of a Children’s Residential Service. I also have experience working with children and young people with disabilities and special needs.

My qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Social Studies, and in Criminology.
