Safeguarding

EPIC staff are committed to safeguarding children and their rights in all that we do

What do we mean by safeguarding?

Safeguarding means putting measures in place to protect the rights of the children and young people we work with.

All organisations that work with children need to have a safeguarding policy or statement, which explains the ways we will keep them safe.

This is required under law, as set out in Section 11 of the Children First Act 2015.

EPIC’s Safeguarding Statement sets out:

Our commitment to protecting all children and young people.
The policies and procedures we have in place to keep children and young people safe and how we respond to child protection concerns.
