National Advocacy Service Report 2022
This report offers an overview of the EPIC National Advocacy Service’s activities in 2022, providing insights into the children and young people who utilised the Service and the issues it addressed. EPIC thank Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, for funding this Service, and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth for their collaboration and engagement.
This marks EPIC’s fourteenth Advocacy Service Report. The data presented in this report, along with previous Advocacy Service Reports, plays a pivotal role in shaping the development of EPIC’s programmes and policies. It enables us to identify and monitor ongoing and emerging trends, as well as the daily challenges faced by the community of children and young individuals who seek assistance from us.
We especially wish to acknowledge the children and young people who came through our Advocacy Service in 2022, whose experiences and challenges are documented throughout this report.
