College Awareness Week
EPIC Youth Council member, Jessica Duffy, joined a student panel for the College Awareness Week College Connections event which was broadcast to schools around Ireland!
Jess shared her journey through the education system, highlighting that some paths are not always clear or don’t go to plan. Jess’s advice to other young people is to keep looking forward, find yourself a new path and most importantly, to believe in yourself.
Jess also spoke about her experience of being a child in care, the stigma around this, and how despite this challenge in life she is determined to succeed, as well as her work on the EPIC Youth Council and how they work to make positives changes for children in care and care-leavers.
